We think that life is serious enough! We provide a welcome break from reality and a unique area where people of all ages can lose themselves in a variety of games from the newest release miniature games to old-school classic board games.

We have been patrons of Heretics Haven since the very beginning and it's been amazing to see how well the community has responded to this store. It's a place that helps nuture the next generation of gamers and gives them a safe space to learn from those more experienced. The owners are always extremely helpful and knowledgable with the products they are selling. We have an ASD child, he's not the socially norm sporty 11yr old but at Heretics he's found his place. He has been going one night a week for about a year. He has learnt more social skills within these walls then we could have ever imagined. He has learnt to interact not just with peers his own age but also adults that have the same interests as him. He now confidently sparks up conversations with those he plays Digimon with. He has learnt to go and pay for things on his own (though it did take many weeks to feel comfortable to do so). He can then use these skills and apply them to the "outside" world. We cannot thank the owners of Herectics Haven enough for opening this gaming store right in the heart of Nambour. They have put their heart and soul into this store and it shows, they should be extremely proud of the store and community they have created. We will continue to support this family business for many years.

Best Games Store on the Coast!!! Large Range and Quality Staff (Dave) to help you find anything you need. Room to play games and see how game systems work, in many cases even try before you buy. Loyalty program also. Highest Recommendation Possible. Come join the community!!!

Being a backpacking traveller, I am looking for shops you just want to get lost in for a while, dive into the world of fantasy, chat with people sharing the same hobby and feel welcomed. I found more than this in here. Promptly invited to play a game of frostgrave made me stay all afternoon into late at night. Thanks for the day, the chats and all the best for the future!

FAQs

What games do you have in store?

Everything from classic board games like Snakes and Ladders and Chess, to miniature games like Warhammer and trading card games such as Pokemon. Seriously, if you can play it, we can access it!

How much does it cost to visit?

Absolutely nothing! We're super passionate about building our community and vibe off the energy that visitors of all ages bring through our doors! There's a small charge for hiring games rooms but no charge for our game tables…we love to help with your gaming free of charge.

Do you have many TCG available?

Pokémon, Magic; The Gathering, Charizard Vmax and Evolving Skies are just some of the trading card games we have available in store. If you want something specific that you don't see listed, we're always happy to help, so get in touch!

I'm looking for a retro board game I used to play as a child, can you help?

Our collection of board games includes classics such as Chess, Monopoly, Ticket to Ride and Catan to name a few. If there's something specific that you don't see listed in our store, get in touch. Our extensive network means we're almost guaranteed to find it for you!

What if I can't visit you in person?

While that makes us sad because we love to meet as many people as we can, we're building an awesome digital community filled with kick-ass gamers, too! You can join our Facebook community.
