It's a place that helps nuture the next generation of gamers and gives them a safe space to learn from those more experienced. The owners are always extremely helpful and knowledgable with the products they are selling. We have an ASD child, he's not the socially norm sporty 11yr old but at Heretics he's found his place. He has been going one night a week for about a year. He has learnt more social skills within these walls then we could have ever imagined. He has learnt to interact not just with peers his own age but also adults that have the same interests as him. He now confidently sparks up conversations with those he plays Digimon with. He has learnt to go and pay for things on his own (though it did take many weeks to feel comfortable to do so). He can then use these skills and apply them to the "outside" world. We cannot thank the owners of Herectics Haven enough for opening this gaming store right in the heart of Nambour. They have put their heart and soul into this store and it shows, they should be extremely proud of the store and community they have created. We will continue to support this family business for many years.
