With a large gaming space available, you can build miniatures for Warhammer, check out the latest Pokémon collection or battle with friends and family over more traditional board games! If you’re a hobbyist, nerd or gamer, we promise our open, family-friendly store has something for you!

Meet the Team

DAVE

Say hello to the man who started it all, one of the Store owners Dave! He is a kind gentle soul who is always willing to help and point you in the right direction. Being an avid tabletop gamer himself, Dave specialises in miniature building and painting. He always adds his own personal touches in his creation process. Dave’s favourite tabletop games range from the sports-based Blood Bowl to the Middle Earth strategy game. He says playing tabletop is so much better than online games because you can see the fear in your opponent’s eyes. Or the sadness in his when he loses, but that’s beside the point.

TAMARA

Let’s take a look at the brains behind the scenes and our other store owner Tammy! Mainly working from behind the scenes as the store’s stock gremlin ensuring our stock levels are correct as well as our on-call help agent. She is our mother hen of the gaming den always making sure everyone is on their best behaviour (particularly Dave). Tammy is the one to seek out for your next family-friendly gaming night or advice on fun activities for the little ones.

Bree

Meet the store manager Bree! She is passionate about the store and its inclusive community, always willing to lend a hand or offer acute recommendations.

Bree loves D&D so much that she is also the in-house DM for Dungeons and Dragons and will be your go-to person for any inquiries or requests in relation to the tabletop RPG. Bree is a largely creative person who has created her own fully functioning fantasy world that she often runs her players through in D&D. She is also in charge of making sure Dave stays on track and doesn’t get carried away doing - anything else but work, even if he calls it work. Just don’t put things down on her desk… You may never get it back.

The KID-SPERTS

Heretics Haven is truly a family-friendly and family-run business. Our kids are always around stepping up to help out on a regular basis. Not that Dave and Tamara will admit it but sometimes, the kids might know a little more than them about a few things - but hey, that is the technology generation for you.

If you have some younger players who need a hand, then they should feel comfortable reaching out to some of younger experts for help as they are often in the shop and are ready to assist wherever they can.

They're always eager to lend a hand to younger players who need some guidance.

Our opening hours attempt to cater to everyone with plenty of time for you to stop by outside standard business hours and long stretches to really let you get engrossed in some serious gameplay or design work.
