Trukks are designed to transport mobs of choppa-wielding Boyz into combat as quickly as possible. Each warband and clan will 'kustomise' its trukks to reflect their own predilictions. For example, a Goff vehicle will be functional with a large crew compartment, while the Evil Sunz almost always have turbo-charged engines and a red paint job.
This box set contains one multi-part plastic Ork Trukk, and includes a bolt-on big shoota, boarding plank, wrecker ball and reinforced ram.
Because Orks don't really have much of a concept of personal space, Wartrukks are often piled with as many Orks as won't fall off, if even that. Sometimes they have runners mounted on the sides of the Trukk so more greenskins can cling on to the sides and get stuck in faster. Some of the more intelligent Orks wait for the Trukk to slow down some before jumping off said runners. Wartrukks are usually armed with Big Shootas on the front, as well as some rather spikey bullbars so the drivers don't miss the thrill of close combat. The Wartrukk serves well to be launched into battle guns blazing, to unload a heap of greenskins into the fray. Because of Ork inventiveness and little in the way of standardization, no two Wartrukks ever look quite the same.[Some are multi-wheeled, others are tracked, with a few even having an unknown motive source.
Wartrukks are built for speed and speed alone, and usually have little in the way of armour plating. They wield a wide variety and combination of weaponry, including a Big Shootas, Stikkbomb Chukka, Grabbin' Klaw, and Wreckin' Ball. Some Trukks weigh 3 tons and have a speed of 80kph on-road and 50kph off-road. Trukks are most often used to ferry Greenskins to battle and are fielded as vast convoys of loud, smoke-belching vehicles full of screaming Boyz.
Orks will fully kustomize their Trukks even after being built by their Meks, often with their own clan's predilection. Goff vehicles will be greasy and plain with a big crew compartment and a heavy spiked wrecking ball for 'krumpin' other vehicles. Evil Sunz Trukks almost always have turbo-charged engines and red paint jobs, whereas Snakebites decorate their vehicles to resemble totem animals, squig-hide tarps, and decorative wood. Deathskull Trukks tend to look suspiciously like hastily blue versions of those belonging to other clans, while Blood Axes daub their Trukks in camouflage patterns and may even make them look suspiciously Imperial. Bad Moons often sport squig-hide seating, deafening loudspeakers, smoking piles, and black and yellow flames along the bodywork. Meanwhile, those used by Freebooterz will boast Jolly Ork Glyphs, rusty hull-spikes, and loot-hanging hooks. Some may even mount rusted plank arrangements so that the pirates can pull alongside moving enemy vehicles and stage high-speed boarding actions.
Besides being used by just Greenskins, the Diggas of Gorkamorka were also known to drive trukks.
