The XXXG-00WO Wing Gundam Zero is the first Gundam designed by the five doctors who developed the OZ-OOMS Tallgeese. Around A.C. 175, the five developed an MS incorporating "technology and materials that did not yet exist at the time," including Gundanium, the most advanced material at the time. This was the Zero, and it was given the code name "Gundam" from the materials used. It was able to transform into Neo Bird form for high-speed cruising, and its Twin Buster Rifle was powerful enough to destroy a space colony in one hit. However, fearing the Zero's enormous destructive coefficient, the five doctors halted development and the design data was sealed away. Then, in A.C. 195, Quatre Labarba Winner, one of the five Gundam pilots who carried out Operation Meteor, broke the seal and the Zero, which was impossible to build at the time of its design, was born.
