HERD: Epoch Environments Expansion

The Epoch Environments Expansion introduces two new card types to the gameplay of HERD: Environments and Environmental Hazards. Both of these drastically influence the way the game plays and add a new level of depth and decision-making to your play experience.

Environments are a new card type that a Herd can Migrate to (see Migration below), instilling benefits and penalties reflecting the ecosystem your Herd might find itself in. These effects can provide interesting new quirks to the flow of gameplay, influencing how Prey cards interact with Predators, Predators interact with your Herd, and more.

Environmental Hazards affect a specific, matching environment - wreaking havoc that can be unpredictable. If you suspect an Environmental Hazard may be drawn soon, or don’t want to risk losing powerful Prey cards to misfortune, you may want to Migrate and avoid their effects! 

The expansion also includes five new playable Herds (Deinocheirus, Pteranodon, Armagosaurus, Isisaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus), and a ton of new predators and prey to enhance your games of HERD.
